Image Editing

Introduction

  • Images often require different levels of editing to extract maximum detail and color.

  • Some may only need basic adjustments while others will be modified to be used as a promotional image.

  • After the edit the right side of the frame is now available for your message.

Crop / Straighten / color adjustment

These are basic edits that we perform to extract maximum image detail. Before we perform any change we evaluate the overall image and other images in the session to maintain a consistent look and feel.

We capture images in both Camera RAW and JPG. Camera Raw is a Non destructive edit format all edits are saved to a separate file. JPG and PNG file edits are destructive. Meaning you cannot return to the original file and redo edits.

  • Color in the image needs strengthening to extract warmth feeling of a fall day

Final Tweaking

  • Editing an image is a matter of personal taste. You may desire an image with a cooler color temperature or warmer.

  • You may want to crop tighter to make the pavilion more dominant.

  • Skies can be replaced to brighten the image or add clouds.
